One surprise after another? I love ya`ll
Ever feel super duper loved? I have… especially for the past two days and my birthday isn’t even for another two days. On Friday night at work, all my lovely coworkers (the ones I like) kept asking me when I was going to lunch,… odd right? Anyways, they had a surprise potluck for me! We had food, drinks, and a big birthday cake! Thanks to everyone that contributed…
Then on Saturday… I went to my parents’ house because they said they were going swimming. I got there and my Ate Camille was there. Then, I started swimming and all my family showed up, that’s like 30+ people, bringing all this food to celebrate my birthday… HOW SWEET! I swam for like 5 hours straight and had so much fun. I love my fam bam!
And… it’s not even my birthday yet. Yay.

Finally… some weekend days off
So… after a year of working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday… I am finally getting some weekend days off! I know this is so super corny because damn near everyone I know only works weekdays and this isn’t that special, but to me, it’s AHHH!!! Anyways, it starts this week… what a nice birthday present from work. Yes!

Knotts Berry Farm… the coolest rides ever!
So after about a week and half back from Hawaii, a family trip was due to California and you know we had to go to at least one theme park. Knotts Berry Farm was really cool. I’m so mad I didn’t get to ride all the rides, but the ones I did ride were so fun! They had some really unique ones, especially Rip Tide (watch clip). The Perilous Plunge was a really short ride, but so worth the wait! You get so soaked! The best ride though was the Super Scream! It is like 200+ feet up and it drops you down at like 50 mph. The best rush of my life…. It was even funner with family there! They even invited Princess (Prentyce)! We got really great pictures from the trip from the park photographers, see them on Facebook.
As for the theme park, you definitely need two days to enjoy it all and I haven’t heard of this park closing down so I’m definitely planning a trip for next year. A lot of people say that Six Flags is better, and although it is really fun there because of the big adult rides, it is always so busy and most of the rides are roller coasters… everytime I go, I only get to ride like 4 rides the entire day! Anyways, what a fun trip. I’m actually still in California blogging this and probably won’t be coming back ever… hehe, just kidding.

Hawaii… damn near the best trip ever!
Wow people… Hawaii was everything I needed! It was so great! Water was perfect, weather was on point, food was delicious… life was so good for those nine (was it 10?) days… we went to the beach damn near everyday and I came out with a damn good tan even though I didn’t mean to. We did so many things on this trip… We went snorkeling and I saw lots of cool fishes and even two turtles, one was really big too, like two feet long! Our visit to the Aloha swap meet, where I probably spent close to $150, was super! Shopping at its finest, even though the 4-story Ala Moana Mall was nice too. The hotel we stayed at was decent — some crazy nights there, lol. I met a new friend (hey Chris!) and bonded with the ones I already. All in all… it was so worth all the money I spent. I got a lot of souvenirs, but I just feel like keeping them all… sorry. I am so lucky that I got to experience Hawaii better than any other tourist because Nicole was a local. THANK YOU NICOLE! I LOVE YOU! Mahalo. Aloha. Shee-shee. Hehe.

An official gold digger
Yessirrrr. I finally got my new lover phone, the gold Razr V3xx. It is very sexy, I must say so myself. The camera is definitely an upgrade from the old Razrs (faster and cleaner image), but the menus have mostly stayed the same. I don’t like the T9 on it as much as on the Nokia’s, but I can work with it. I thought I could beat out the battery problem since I got a new phone… but, no. My battery still needs recharging at least two times a day! This reeks of ass, but I’m gonna get an extra battery and a car charger… hopefully before I leave for Hawaii! Anyways… Razrs are so old school now, but ehhh… mine is fire.

Backyardigans toys are on sale!
If I had to watch one little kids show the entire day… I would definitely watch the Backyardigans that comes on Nick Jr. They have the best songs on their show and an album (which you should cop by the way… it’s fire).
Anyways, Amazon is having a big sale on their Backyardigans toys… so you should definitely stock up if you have nieces and nephews under the age of five… It is so great!

The best manager ever… is leaving
So my manager for work is leaving our department and moving to another one… probably for more money, but it doesn’t matter… This is totally gay. We are having a potluck for her the week I come back from Hawaii. I’m just sad because she was a really good manager… if I had my choice, Maria would be my next manager, but we will see.

I need a new phone… again
My Nokia 6131 is a really good phone, but it just keeps dying on me! I don’t know if it’s me or the phone, but dammit… it is getting really irritating because I just upped my cell phone plan to unlimited text messaging and I can’t use it. I definitely need to get a new phone before I leave for Hawaii though, I don’t wanna be somewhere and get lost and have to sleep on the beach until I’m found by big, sexy Hawaiian men. But, good news, I’m available for an upgrade with AT&T cell phone and I’m thinking of getting the gold Razr V3xx. The phone has definitely upgraded since I had it almost three years ago (1+ MP camera, microSD slot, 60MB internal memory — it was 5 MB when I had it). I haven’t fully decided yet, but I can’t order it right now anyway, the damn AT&T site is trippin.

No sleepover for another week, sorry guys
Tell me how much this sucks… the damn tile people aren’t done with the grout so I have to change the moving day (of the furniture) to next Saturday… HOW SUPER FLIPPIN` GAY IS THAT?! So… no sleepovers or parties or hang out time at the new crib.
What pisses me off is that they’ll be done by like Wednesday, but my brother can’t help me until Saturday. The only positive thing I can see coming from this is me not paying the rent for the month of July since I basically won’t be living there the entire month, but at least it will be ready the week before I leave for Hawaii (if that’s even going down). Just thought I would vent. It’s hard having your own place!
